Mr. Fletcher (Tommy) is a Jacksonville native and currently resides with his wife Linda (Lin) in Northwest St. Johns County.  He has one son, Ryan who is 30.  Tommy grew up in Mandarin where his parents owned and operated Atkinson’s Pharmacy.  The entire family worked in the business.   Tommy graduated from Wolfson High and earned an Associate’s Degree from Florida Community College at Jacksonville.   He was employed by Goldline Laboratories for 20 years in sales, sales management and sales training and at American Respiratory Solutions for 10 years as VP of Sales and Marketing.  He was responsible for pharmacy acquisition, regulatory compliance, and day to day operations of eight retail/specialty pharmacies.  Tommy is currently President of Mayhugh Drugs, a family owned business which is a retail pharmacy and Hospital Equipment Provider in Green Cove Springs, Fl. Tommy has been a board member of Gateway Community Services for five years and is currently the Vice Chair. He is also a member of the Alumni House Advisory Board.

Ms. Boyle is an active Board Member for Gateway Community Services Board of Directors and Gateway Foundation Board. She currently serves on the Marketing and Advancement Committees.

Zoe Ann retired from The Bridge of Northeast Florida as the Development Director. The Bridge was a nonprofit organization, providing educational programs to underserved children in Jacksonville public schools and at the campus in the Springfield neighborhood. Prior to The Bridge, Zoe Ann was a Vice President with a regional marketing company, responsible for brand images/ awareness, graphic design, and print and broadcast advertising for a wide variety of local and regional companies.

Mr. Dahlenburg graduated from the University of Delaware in 1981 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting.  He is a Licensed as a CPA in New Jersey and Florida.  He worked 6 years with Deloitte and Touche, CPA’s in New York and Miami before embarking on a 20 year career in the banking and finance industry.  In 2008 he organized his own sole proprietorship CPA firm, Bill Dahlenburg, CPA/PA, focusing on personal and corporate income taxes, business formation and organization and consulting.  Bill is currently Director of Finance for the Pace Center for Girls, a private, not-for-profit organization providing prevention and early intervention services to girls and young women through education, counseling, training and advocacy throughout the state of Florida.   He is a member of the Mandarin Presbyterian Church and serves on multiple community boards and committees.

Mr. Curran is a founding partner with Amelia Consulting Group LLC (ACG). ACG specializes in providing consulting services to the Health Care Industry and was formed in 2009 after Mr. Curran left his position as Senior Vice President and CFO of St Vincent’s Health Care (St Vincent’s).  Prior to St. Vincent’s, he retired as a partner from KPMG (an international accounting firm) after 31 years of service. Mr. Curran graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a CPA in the State of Florida.  Mr. Curran has been involved with Gateway in various capacities since 1997.  He currently serves as Treasurer of Gateway Community Services.  In addition to Gateway, Mr. Curran is a former board member of the Sulzbacher Center and Community Connections.

Peggy Bryan

Ms. Bryan, a Jacksonville native, is involved in many philanthropic causes in Jacksonville. Peggy, the daughter of “Cotton” Paul one of Gateway’s Founders, raised over $150,000 for Serenity Park, a calm and hopeful landscape for Gateway clients and staff, dedicated to her father. Ms. Bryan was also instrumental in the building and design of Gateway’s Kids’ Success Center and Detox facility. She is a past president of Learn to Read, Leadership Jacksonville, PACE Center for Girls, Youth Leadership Jacksonville and Greenscape. Ms. Bryan is currently on the board of the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Greenscape, PACE, the Metro YMCA, Waste Not, Want Not and Tiger Academy, the YMCA’s charter school. Ms. Bryan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in European history and economics. Peggy recently received the Times-Union’s 2014 EVE Lifetime Achievement Award.

John Carey

John comes to VanTrust from Whitehall Realty Partners, a Jacksonville based development and investment firm, where he and his partners successfully developed, stabilized and sold a wide range of real estate assets in the Southeastern United States. John’s expertise includes office, industrial, multi-family, retail, mixed-use and senior living projects. At VanTrust, he is responsible for VanTrust Real Estate development and investment in the Florida region, focusing primarily on Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa.

Prior to founding Whitehall, John was President and COO of Flagler Development Company (NYSE:FLA). Prior to Flagler, John held executive positions with the St. Joe Company and Trammell Crow Company. He began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse. John is currently active with the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He also actively supports Florida’s First Coast YMCA and Catholic Charities. John is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Ann, reside in Jacksonville.

In addition to serving on the board of Gateway Community Services, Pete Gunnlaugsson is the president of The Sanctuary on 8th Street where he has served since 2012.
 
He is also a board member and the corporate treasurer for LiftJax whose mission is to eliminate generational poverty in Jacksonville’s historically significant OutEast neighborhood.
Mr. Gunnlaugsson holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He likes long walks in the forest and listening to Steely Dan.

Dr. Saundra Jackson, MD, RDMS, FACEP, was welcomed to the Gateway Community Services Board of Directors in July of 2020. Dr. Jackson received her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002, graduated medical school from Northwestern University Medical School in 2008, completed her residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011, and concluded with a fellowship at the University of South Florida that ended in 2012.

Pamela Korn

Pamela Korn moved to Jacksonville in 1980 from San Francisco after growing up in Upstate New York. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Albany and an Masters in Business Administration from the University of Toronto.  She started her banking career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and is currently a member of the Wells Fargo Business Banking Team.  Ms. Korn has spent her career in banking working with small and moderate sized businesses.  She is a recipient of the 2008 Regional Volunteer of the Year Award from the Florida Small Business Development Center and the 2007 SBA Financial Champion of the Year Award.  She has been active in the United Way, Jewish Community Alliance (JCA), and has served as an Achievers for Life mentor and Take Stock in Children mentor.  Ms. Korn is married to Michael Korn, who is an attorney, and together they have two adult children.

Robert “Bobby” Martin

Bobby Martin retired as the General Manager of the Florida Times- Union, where he spent 50 years of his employment, that included the same position earlier in his career at the St. Augustine Record. He is from Richmond, Virginia and moved to Jacksonville during high school and graduated from Robert E. Lee H.S. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Journalism.  He served six years in the Florida National Guard.

He is a community volunteer who serves on the Communities In Schools Board of Directors, the Flagler College Board of Trustees (Emeritus), the Children’s Christmas Party Board, the Florida Theatre Board (Honorary) and the Rotary Club of Jacksonville.

He is a past Chairman of The Players Championship and continues as a Red Coat. His past community service includes a board member of Ronald McDonald House, Catholic Charities, BASCA, PACE and others. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, golf and repairing old electronic devices.

Michael R Phillips is a trial attorney who concentrates his Family Law practice on complex divorce cases, child custody, business valuations, and military issues. He is a Barrister and past Jacksonville Executive Committee member of the Florida Family Law Inns of Court. Attorney Phillips is an active member of Rotary International – Beaches Oceanside and Jacksonville Chapter President of the Carolina Alumni Association. He is former Assistant District Legal Counsel for the Florida Department of Children and Families in both St. Johns and Duval Counties in Florida. He joined Gateway Community Services, Inc. Board of Directors in 2025.
