Safe, stable living for men and women in recovery

Community understanding, commitment and support are vital to keeping individuals on their journey of recovery. At Gateway, we want to see people recover, families recover and communities recover.

Alumni House
Alumni House - Recovery Housing
Alumni House is a transitional housing facility for men and women in recovery from alcoholism and drug addictions. Since its inception in 1996, Alumni House has provided a stable living environment where men and women can learn new habits, cultivate new perceptions, develop the ability to make sound decisions, build character and practice accountability. Alumni House is part of Gateway’s tiered recovery housing program which transitions residents up a housing ladder that delivers increasingly more independence. The facility houses 40 men and 20 women with residents typically staying six months to one year.

Many Alumni House residents move to Gateway’s Independence Village, which provides long-term apartment accommodations on the Alumni House campus.

This permanent supportive housing enables clients to function independently while living in a less restrictive structured environment located on the Alumni House campus. There are 56 apartments available in seven two-story buildings.
