Treatment Today is our process to assist you with getting registered, assessed, and enrolled into treatment services. It is designed to allow you to have easier and faster access to our treatment services.
Treatment Today has a capacity of 4 adults per day with check-in prior to 11:00am.

Monday: 8am – 2pm
Tuesday: 8am – 2pm
Wednesday: 8am – 2pm
Thursday: 8am – 2pm
Friday: Not available

This service is offered as part of Gateway’s new Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) treatment model that provides integrated care services to adults seeking mental health, substances use, and primary healthcare through one network.

Who is Treatment Today For? If you are requesting services for substance use and/or mental health disorders and are willing to immediately start outpatient services, Treatment Today is right for you!
What do I need for Treatment Today? Please bring the following items when you walk in:
- Insurance Information
- Photo ID
- List of prescription medication
- Name and contact of primary care doctor / psychiatrist / prescribing doctor
- History of mental health and substance use concerns / treatment
- Emergency contact information
- Referral paperwork (if applicable)
What are the steps to get started?
- You can contact Gateway Connect at (877) 389-9966 Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm to ask about available days and times for Treatment Today services. You may also pre-register through Gateway Connect for faster in-person admission.
- Alternatively, you may arrive at Gateway’s main campus during the hours listed above to ask the front desk if there are any remaining openings that day for Treatment Today. Please note that we highly recommend pre-registering through Gateway Connect.
- The second step after pre-registering is to come to our Stockton Street campus (555 Stockton Street) during Treatment Today hours and be greeted by one of our engagement specialists who serves as your guide through the Treatment Today process. Once completed, you will be enrolled into outpatient services with same day group availability
Gateway’s adult outpatient services include: Individual, Group and Family Counseling, as well as Integrated Care Services (ICS) with Case Management, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Care Coordination Support.
Note: If you are requesting and assessed for residential treatment, we encourage you to participate in outpatient services until a bed becomes available.
Note: If you are involved/referred through the Probation, Marchman Court, Northeast Florida Safety Council, or DCF please do not utilize Treatment Today, You will contact Gateway Connect to be connected to the appropriate staff.
