Mr. Roark has served as administrator of the Baptist Clay Medical Campus since October 2013. Roark joined Baptist Health in 2012 as an assistant administrator overseeing all emergency centers in the health system and continues in that role, along with serving as the top administrator for Baptist Clay. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Roark was director of Emergency Services at Orange Park Medical Center from 2009-2012. Roark began his career in business and went back to school to move into health care, earning his Bachelor of Science in nursing from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 1999 and master’s in business administration from Northern Illinois University in 2007. Roark has long been involved in researching best practices, data and technology in patient safety. His research has been published in the Journal of Emergency Nursing, the American Journal of Nursing and Nursing Management. Roark was previously a part-time faculty member for Colorado Technical University and is now on the Public Safety Steering Committee at First Coast Technical College.
