Peggy Bryan

Ms. Bryan, a Jacksonville native, is involved in many philanthropic causes in Jacksonville. Peggy, the daughter of “Cotton” Paul one of Gateway’s Founders, raised over $150,000 for Serenity Park, a calm and hopeful landscape for Gateway clients and staff, dedicated to her father. Ms. Bryan was also instrumental in the building and design of Gateway’s Kids’ Success Center and Detox facility. She is a past president of Learn to Read, Leadership Jacksonville, PACE Center for Girls, Youth Leadership Jacksonville and Greenscape. Ms. Bryan is currently on the board of the Community Foundation for Northeast Florida, the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Greenscape, PACE, the Metro YMCA, Waste Not, Want Not and Tiger Academy, the YMCA’s charter school. Ms. Bryan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in European history and economics. Peggy recently received the Times-Union’s 2014 EVE Lifetime Achievement Award.
